NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR COMMENTS & NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE LCTA 2024 PROGRAM OF PROJECTS
The Luzerne County Transportation Authority will hold a public hearing in the LCTA’s Meeting Room 315 Northampton St. Kingston, PA on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 4:00 PM. At this meeting, a proposal for a Program of Projects (POP) and a request for financial assistance under the Federal Transportation Act of 1964, as amended, will be considered. Prior to the hearing, the POP will be available for review at the above address from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and online at www.lctabus.com. The public comment period is open from 6/11/2024 until 6/25/2024. This funding project is for: Tire Lease, Safety and Security, Computer Software, ADA Non-Fixed Route Paratransit and Preventive Maintenance. The term of the project is July 1st, 2024 to June 30th 2025 with funds secured from FTA Section(s) 5307 and 5339. Activity will take place entirely within the LCTA service area. The projects listed here constitute the final Program of Projects unless otherwise amended.
