Public Hearing

Purpose of the Hearing

Attorney Blazosek noted for the record that a quorum was present. He explained that this public hearing was held to announce the Program of Projects. Each year, the Authority seeks funding for improvements or projects considered to be capital in nature. The Authority is required to give the public an opportunity to learn what funding it is seeking and which projects it hopes to fund to fulfill the Authority's needs.

Proposed Projects

Ms. Bednarek stated that the proposed projects include:

• ADA non-fixed-route paratransit
• Computer hardware and software, including route-planning software
• Fare equipment
• Preventive maintenance
• Tire lease
• Safety and security
• Purchase of signage

The public comment period will remain open until June 30, 2026.

Attorney Blazosek asked whether anyone had comments or questions. No comments or questions were offered.

Motion

Motion: Approve the Program of Projects for fiscal year 2026-2027.

Mr. Cefalo made the motion, and Mr. Alshefski seconded it. All members present voted yes; the motion carried.
