Board Meeting

During the COVID-19 state of emergency, Board Members were given the option to attend in person and participate in Board of Directors meetings or attend through teleconference, however, the conference room of the Luzerne County Transportation Authority at 315 Northampton Street, Kingston, Pennsylvania continued to be utilized with appropriate social distance for limited attendees for public comment at each meeting. In addition to making its conference room available for public attendance and comment, the Authority will now offer public virtual online attendance. The Luzerne County Transportation Authority’s monthly Board Meeting will begin at 5:00 PM, or immediately following conclusion of any Executive Session. There will also be a Work Session starting at 4:00 PM. Work Sessions and Board Meetings are open to the public. Executive Sessions if called are not open to the public.
  • There are multiple ways to attend Work Sessions and Board Meetings:
  • Board Meetings and Work Sessions are open to the public on site at 315 Northampton St, Kingston.
  • Attend virtually using GoToMeeting by phone or computer. There is no login necessary, although you will be asked to identify yourself for attendance and monitoring purposes. Please mute yourself upon entering so as to minimize background noise. If you wish to speak during Public Comment, you will be called upon at which point you may unmute.
    • During Executive Session, you will be dismissed from the meeting. You may click on the link to get back in the same session and wait in the Virtual Waiting Room until the Executive Session is concluded, at which point you will be allowed back in for the Board Meeting.
There are multiple ways to provide Public Comment at a Board Meeting.
  • If attending in person, you can state your question or comment during the Public Comment period when called upon.
  • If you are attending virtually, you can state your question or comment by using the Chat feature of GoToMeeting.
